'the intersection' is the personal blog of Bryan Stiekes. Bryan works as senior networking technologist for the IT services organization of a Fortune 10 technology company and IT services provider. In his current role he is responsible for the identification of emergent technologies and technology trends, the maturation of those technologies in collaboration with technology vendors, and the evangelism of new technologies within the IT industry. Bryan leverages his history in networking, datacenters, virtualization, and security heavily. Bryan is interested in technology trends such as infrastructure, platform, and software as a service, network multi-tenancy, and mobility.
More importantly, Bryan is a born again Christian deeply interested in how technology is changing the culture within which the church exists and its effects, both positive and negative, on the church itself.
